We work with small professional offices across a range of industries, including law firms, medical and dental practices, financial advisors, accounting firms, and similar service-based businesses. If your office depends on reliable systems and handles sensitive client data, we are a good fit. Our focus is on teams that need structured, responsive IT support without the overhead of a large enterprise IT department.
We offer four tiers designed to match different levels of need. On-Demand is flexible, pay-as-you-go support for businesses that need occasional help. LayerZero Core ($60/user/month) provides managed IT with helpdesk access, maintenance, and monthly reporting. LayerZero Secure ($90/user/month) adds EDR endpoint protection, phishing simulations, 24/7 SOC monitoring, and encrypted backup. LayerZero Complete ($175/user/month) expands further with infrastructure monitoring, broader onsite coverage, and quarterly technology reviews. All managed plans require a 5-user minimum (Complete requires 15).
Onboarding starts with a full environment review — we document your devices, network, software, and vendors so we understand exactly what we are supporting before anything else changes. From there we establish support expectations, identify the most immediate risks or gaps, and get remote management tooling in place. Most clients are fully onboarded within the first two weeks. Healthcare clients also receive a Business Associate Agreement as part of this process.
Existing clients can submit and track requests through the Support Portal at any time. You can also reach us by phone or email for anything urgent. Managed plan clients have dedicated helpdesk access during business hours, with priority scheduling available on Secure and Complete plans.
Yes. Layer Zero Technologies operates as a HIPAA Business Associate and will sign a BAA with covered entities as part of onboarding. Our managed plans address the technical and administrative safeguards required under HIPAA, including EDR, encrypted backup, patch management, and documented device procedures. Our technology partners — including Huntress, Level.io, and Wasabi — also maintain BAAs, so the subcontractor chain is covered. See our HIPAA Compliance page for more detail.
Managed plans are billed monthly with a standard service agreement rather than a multi-year lock-in. On-Demand clients are billed per engagement with no ongoing commitment. We prefer clients to stay because the service is working, not because they are contractually obligated to.
