About
Enterprise IT expertise, built for your business
Layer Zero Technologies is an Austin-area managed IT provider built from the ground up to serve small professional offices — with the same level of structure and oversight that enterprise organizations rely on, without the enterprise complexity.
Our story
Why we started Layer Zero
Small businesses face the same technology risks as large organizations — ransomware, hardware failures, compliance requirements, and vendor complexity — but rarely have the internal resources to manage them well. Most end up either overpaying for services they do not need, or underserved by providers who treat them as low-priority accounts.
Layer Zero Technologies was founded to close that gap. Our team brings enterprise cloud infrastructure experience — FedRAMP environments, large-scale Linux architecture, OpenStack and Kubernetes operations — and applies that depth to the real, practical IT challenges small offices face every day. We build IT programs around what your office actually needs, not what looks impressive on a proposal.

How we work
What to expect from us
Our approach is consistent across every client. Structured onboarding, documented environments, defined service expectations, and regular reporting. No guesswork, no surprises.
Structured from day one
Onboarding follows a defined process — environment review, documentation, risk assessment, and tooling deployment — before ongoing support begins. We do not make promises we have not verified against your actual environment.
Transparent communication
Monthly reporting keeps you informed on system stability, incidents, and open items. You will always know where things stand, not just when something breaks.
Practical over complex
We recommend technology that fits your office, not the most expensive or most complicated option. The goal is a stable, well-managed environment — not an impressive vendor list.
Long-term relationships
We prefer clients who stay because the service is working, not because they are locked into a contract. Our agreements are structured around service delivery, not retention mechanics.
